LOOKING FOR LABOR DAY RECIPES
Can't fight tradtional-so update that mayo based potato salad with my Southwestern Sweet Potato Salad. When I tested the recipe, what an explosion of flavors and colors. I love the roasted sweet potatoes as roasting truly brings out the flavor.

SUMMER AND TV
I was just in Denver on one of my favorite TV shows, 9News at 4, preparing summer sides. What would summer be without Potato Salad and Cole slaw so wait until you try my Crunchy Fruity Coleslaw and Double Roasted Sweet Potato Salad, featuring Louisiana yams. Then off to Austin Texas where I ate so much barbecue and Mexican food...and I thought I couldn't get enough avocados! |

Love it when I hear my daughters' cooking stories. Courtney, in Dallas, was trying recipes with NAKANO seasoned rice vinegars, createdher Fast Fish recipe. In New York, Haley, was preparing a thank you dinner and when I asked what was she making, she said, "Chicken Vermicelli--that was the recipe I liked on your Mobile Rush Hour Recipes phone application which she uses all the time. |
